Prof. Dr. med. Hans Pässler

Prof. Dr. med. Hans Pässler is considered the international leader of knee surgery. He is renowned in particular for cruciate ligament surgery as well as  cartilage cell transplant. From 1997 to 2010 he was the director of the Medical Practice Clinic ATOS in Heidelberg.

Prof. Dr. med. Hans Pässler is a specialist of surgery and casualty surgery and founder of the early-functional therapy after ligament operations in the knee joint (1972).

He is internationally renowned in the field of arthroscopic operations. He has more than 200 publications in technical periodicals. Furthermore, he has individually published three books and contributed in the authorship of many more medical references.

Reconstruction of the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL), performance of ACL revision surgery, management of recent posterior cruciate ligament tears, treatment of cartilage lesions with microfracturing, reattachment/replacement of detached cartilage fragment, performance of dome high tibial osteotomy.
