Philip brings with him a lifetime of experience, from turning around the fortunes of the first International School in Berlin to establishing a self-funding school that generates jobs for underprivileged children in Phuket. With a background in the hospitality industry, Philipp was previously Senior Vice President of Ritz-Carlton Hotels. He is currently President and CEO of the Thanyapura sports, health and educational complex in Phuket, Thailand.

An Ironman® Certified Coach and a Certified Manager in Online Medicine from the German Leipzig Health Institute, Matthias combines his personal interest in health and human performance management with academic qualifications obtained at the University of Management Sciences in Krems/Austria (Master) and at UNCC Charlotte in North Carolina/USA (MBA) and a career spanning 13 years in the development and start up of luxury hotels across Asia. He is also a Certified Medical Tourism Professional (CMTP) by the Medical Tourism Association.
Neil van Heerden

Neil joined FMO after spending 11 years with American Express in senior managerial roles around Germany, Singapore and Thailand. A true global citizen with a passion for healthcare, people and technology, his sales and marketing experience spans diverse industries including financial services, banking, telecommunications and mining. Neil holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from the University of Cape Town and an Executive Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of London. In addition, he is also a Certified Manager in Online Medicine from the German Leipzig Health Institute and a Certified Medical Tourism Professional (CMTP) by the Medical Tourism Association.
